Huband Park Elementary will be closed on Thursday, because of flooding.
This is the result of heavy rainfall and the accumulation of groundwater during the past few days.
The Comox Valley School District says that its “maintenance staff responded swiftly and the flow of water in the school has ceased.”
Maintenance staff will require a full day to clean up the residual water and dry the classrooms before operations can continue.
