Courtenay may have another cannabis store in the future.
Next Monday, the city is hosting a public hearing to get your feedback for an application at the Crown Isle Plaza off of Ryan Road.
At the hearing, which will be taking place virtually on the City of Courtenay’s Youtube Channel, you will be able to share your thoughts on the application and whether or not you would like to see the store setup.
Currently, Courtenay has five active cannabis stores, including one run by the government. The Comox Valley as a whole has a total of seven, so if approved, this store would make it eight.
The hearing will kick off next Monday, February 8th at 5:00 pm and you can join by visiting the City of Courtenay’s Youtube Channel.
More information can also be found on the city’s website.
