Flooding causes damage at Brooklyn Elementary School

Yesterday afternoon, Brooklyn Elementary School in Comox suffered a fair bit of damage after a student accidentally knocked a sprinkler head off the ceiling.
Comox Fire Chief Gord Schreiner says this caused several thousands of gallons of water to fall into the classroom.
He says crews were on scene for about 90 minutes helping with the clean-up.
Chief Schreiner adds no children were injured during this incident and that everything is back up and running as normal at Brooklyn Elementary School in Comox.
