Story Walk brings children’s book to life in Cumberland

A walking children’s book, of sorts, is back in Cumberland.

Story Walk is a number of small signs, each representing two pages from Deb Pilutti’s children’s book “Old Rock (is not boring)” set up near the treed area of No. 6 Mine Heritage Park.

After a successful launch in 2020, the display has returned and will stay in place until Monday, May 17th.

You’re invited to stroll through the park and take your time as you progress through the story.

Story Walk will make repeat appearances in No. 6 Mine Heritage Park this summer, each time bringing a new children’s story to life.

You can find out more about the program from Comox Valley Lifelong Learning.

Story Walk is a partnership with valleychild.ca and Comox Valley Lifelong Learning Centre.
