Increase in theft from vehicles in the community of Cumberland

Cumberland has received complaints from people who say there has been an increase in vehicle property thefts.

Residents are reminded to lock all vehicle doors and valuable items and to immediately report the incidents to the local RCMP, according to the Village of Cumberland.

The Comox Valley RCMP has launched an online website that allows people to report crimes involving lost or stolen property. To file a complaint, you need to provide an address, phone number, and valid email address.
