The City of Courtenay’s Director of Financial Services has retired. Tillie Manthey served with the city for over 22 years.
Current mayor Larry Jangula says it’s a significant change to staff and that Tillie will be missed.
The new Director of Financial Services, Brian Parschauer, will be joining the city on July 13th after serving in Prince Albert for the last 17 years.
He holds a CPA-CMA designation, plus a degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Public Administration, and is a board member of the Western Canada Government Finance Officers’ Association.
