RCMP received over 60 calls during Christmas holiday

It was business as usual for the RCMP in Comox Valley during the holidays.

Between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, more than 60 calls for assistance or to report suspicious activity were received.

The RCMP responded to abandoned 911 calls, assaults, missing people, a found child, abandoned vehicles and road hazards, traffic complaints, alarms, loose dogs, and emergency calls for ambulances, and the fire department.

The RCMP says that it’s important to recognize all of the first responders who worked during the holiday season.
