Comox Valley RCMP are looking for witnesses regarding an incident that saw three vehicles hit by an erratic driver on Monday.
A report came in at 6:15 pm, saying that a driver was operating a pick-up truck on Island Highway North.
Another witness called in, telling police that the driver had clipped his vehicle mirror on the way to the highway at Smith Road, with two more calls reporting their vehicles being crashed by the driver on Island Highway North coming in shortly after.
The police were able to locate the abandoned grey 2018 Ford F-150 truck on Merville Road just west of Headquarters Road in Courtenay, where they found and arrested a suspect.
