Brewery keg curl competition to return this year, raise funds for Dawn to Dawn

The 3rd annual Battle of the Breweries Keg Curling Fundraiser will be held this year to benefit a local homelessness society.

Featuring eight breweries, the fundraiser will be held on March 18 at the Comox Valley Curling Club. The tournament features beer kegs curled on ice by the local breweries in competition for bragging rights and an opportunity to sip from the kegoblet.

Anyone attending the event can also have a shot at curling a beer keg with a $5 donation and win prizes for getting their keg closest to the button. All proceeds will go the Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness Society.

Ace Brewing will try and defend their title from last year against Beach Fire, Cumberland Brewing, Gladstone, Hoyne, Land and Sea, Mount Arrowsmith and New Tradition.
