Easter Promenade comes to Courtenay Friday

With Easter being a week away, Courtenay Recreation will host an event for families to attend at the Lewis Centre.

Called the Easter Promenade, the event features free activities that are open to everyone, with no pre-registration required. It’s aimed at children aged one to six years old.

The activities include an Arts and Craft Corner, two inflatable bouncy castles, an obstacle course, open gym playtime, and family photos with the Easter Bunny.

The only part of the event that you need to register for is the Easter Egg Hunt, with participants looking around and searching for specially-marked eggs, hidden by the Bunny. The hunt is running throughout the day, costing eight dollars per family.
