This summer, pay tribute to missing and murdered aboriginal women throughout North America.

Walking With Our Sisters will be at the K’omoks Band Hall from July 31st to August 15th. It’s a memorial display honoring all missing and murdered aboriginal women in Canada and the US.

Comox’s I-Hos Gallery manager Ramona Johnson explains what the event is all about.

Johnson says the event has grown quite a bit through the years.

Johnson says Comox is the 13th community to host Walking With Our Sisters.

Throughout the years, the Walking With Our Sisters committee has grown to over 50 members and more than 300 volunteers. For more details on WWOS, visit walkingwithoursisters.ca.
