There is a lot of fun in store at the Courtenay Museum's Spring Fling and Easter Things event. The ever-popular petting zoo (courtesy of Shamrock Gumboots 4H Club) gives folks a chance to meet lambs, kids (baby goats), ducks, geese, bunnies and chicks. Ringette is a fast-paced non-contact team sport on ice. It is a wonderful game for building strength, fitness and confidence. All you need are some warm clothes, your skates, a helmet, a pair of mitts or gloves and enthusiasm!
