The RCMP is looking for witnesses after an armed robbery in Courtenay.

It happened yesterday around 2:15am at the Tim Hortons on Lerwick Road. The RCMP says a man used a knife to demand money from an employee.

He’s described as about 6’ tall and was wearing a dark grey hoodie with blue accents, dark pants and running shoes. He was driving a smaller, red 1990’s extended cab pickup truck with a black canopy.

Mounties in the Comox Valley are looking for information on several cases of mischief.

Constable Rob Gardner says there were numerous calls of mischief to vehicles over the weekend. He says on April 7th, someone slashed a vehicle's tires on Edgett Road.

He also notes that several vehicles had eggs thrown at them around the areas of Piercy Avenue, Crown Isle Drive and Royston Road.
