RCMP nab speedy drivers on Inland Island Highway

The Comox Valley RCMP and Oceanside RCMP’s Traffic Section recently teamed up on a major crackdown on speedy drivers.

Constable Don Sinclair says a team of officers set up shop near the Cook Creek area, and ended up nailing plenty of drivers going way above the posted speed limit.

As for the speeding ticket tally at the end of the day?

Constable Sinclair says RCMP in the region will continue ongoing summer time enforcement campaigns focusing on speeding, distracted driving and drunk drivers.
