Closures will be in effect for Comox Nautical Days event

With Comox Nautical Days returning next weekend, expect some closures around town.

According to the Town, the west parking lot at Comox Marina Park, the boat launch, and tidal grids will all be closed during the BC Day long weekend for the event, which runs from August 3 to 5.

While the east parking lot closes on August 5, the lot will be open for up to 3 hours of parking on Saturday and Sunday, with some spots reserved for those with disabilities.

They say violators will be towed.

The closures will be in effect from August 2 at 11:59 p.m. to August 5 at 11:59 p.m.
