Courtenay Fire Crews teamed up with RCMP and BC Ambulance for a rescue mission in the early hours of this morning.
Captain Jonathan Welsh says they were sent out to the scene at around 2:00 AM.
Welsh says the individual involved had suffered an ankle injury and the mission took crews approximately 25 minutes.
