Day promises to put in hard work after getting elected in Courtenay – Comox

After Saturday’s election, Brennan Day promises to put in the hard work for Courtenay – Comox.

In the BC election Saturday night, Day, the Conservative Candidate for the riding, was elected as MLA.

Day says getting elected is an unbelievable feeling.

“I worked hard at this, we had a huge team behind us, and it’s nice to see that the hard work was rewarded,” said Day.

He says once sworn in, he’ll focus on not only housing affordability, but also on getting funding for mental health and addictions treatment beds and involuntary care facilities in the Comox Valley.

“I don’t think we can underscore how important and how critical an issue this is in our community, and it’s time we get the resources to help the people in need.”
