On August 15th, you’ve got the chance to swing your clubs and help out a great cause!
The Comox Golf Club and Tee Box will be the host venue for a special fundraiser coming up next weekend, raising funds for YANA, also known as You Are Not Alone.
The charitable organization helps families on the Island travel to the mainland to receive medical treatment for their children.
Executive Director of the event Jonathan Kun says there’s going to be an oyster BBQ, a raffle and plenty of golf.
He says the birth of his 3rd child was a factor in helping put this event together.
Kun adds raffle tickets can be picked up at the Tee Box and the Comox Golf Club.
