BC Ferries warns of sailing cancelations ahead of windstorm

According to BC Ferries, a severe weather forecast for high winds in the Strait of Georgia from Environment Canada may result in cancelled sailings. 

They say that sailings from Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay are at risk of being cancelled this afternoon. 

Sailings at Risk of Cancellation:
3:45 pm departing Horseshoe Bay
6:35 pm departing Horseshoe Bay
10:10 pm departing Horseshoe Bay 

3:20 pm departing Departure Bay 
5:55 pm departing Departure Bay
8:45 pm departing Departure Bay 

Anyone travelling between these two terminals is encouraged to follow BC Ferries on X and if they need to cross, they should be on ferries departing at 1 pm today.
