RCMP in the Comox Valley have taken their next step towards finding a suspect involved in a hit and run Monday night.

A photo provided to police by the victim has been released.

The man was riding a skateboard near the Gas N Go on Comox Road when he was struck by the vehicle turning into the business.

The victim sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries as a result but is expected to make a full recovery.

Although the image is blurry and can’t make out a license plate or a clear photo of the suspect, RCMP hopes it will assist in helping identify them.

Investigators are looking for anyone parked around the Gas N Go pumps is asked to come forward as a witness, specifically those associated with a pickup truck.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP’s non-emergency line.
