Major upgrades for Port McNeil ferry terminal

Earlier we told you crews had gone into high gear on the Denman Island Cable Ferry project, and now work is well underway on a 13-million dollar Port McNeil BC Ferries Terminal upgrade. BC Ferries spokesperson Darren Guenette says this is one crucial part, of a multi-pronged infrastructure project for the North Island.

Guenette says at this point, work continues without disruption to ferry service, but that will all change come October.

Guenette says the entire project will be wrapped up later in the fall of this year.
