Christmas tree chipping set for Cumberland Sunday

With the holidays over, Christmas trees will be chipped in Cumberland this Sunday.

The Village has announced the Cumberland Christmas Tree Chipping event, where members of the Cumberland Fire department collect and chip the trees. The goal is to collect food and cash donations for Cumberland Community Schools Society’s Food Share program.

They say there will be a pick-up service for those who need it, all you need to do is call 250-336-2531.

The event is happening at the Cumberland Fire Hall, running from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
