A search warrant executed at a Courtenay home has led to the arrest of two people.

On January 30, officers from the Bike and Street Crimes Units with help from frontline members and Police Dog Services searched a home at an Arden Road home as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Investigators were able to seize what is believed to be fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, prescription drugs, and cash.

A 57-year-old man and 48-year-old woman were arrested at the property and have since been released from custody.
