Courtenay protest targets Stephen Harper

Armed with “STOP HARPER!” placards, protesters spoke out against Stephen Harper and the Conservatives at a 17th Street Bridge rally over the lunch hour today in Courtenay.

Goat News spoke to a few of the protesters on their concerns…as some drivers honked their horns in support…

Meanwhile Stephen Harper will be on hand for a BBQ event in Black Creek tonight.
