Comox Valley importing water for Exhibition

The city of Campbell River has saved the fair! That’s from Comox Valley Exhibition Board of Directors member Mike Trimble.

The Exhibition is on this weekend, and plenty of the activities taking place are water-based.

The Valley is currently in Stage 3 water restrictions, so Campbell River will be providing about 36,000 gallons of water for the event, according to Trimble.

He says they’ve never experienced anything like this before.

Some of the events include DockDogs and Logger Sports. The Comox Valley Exhibition starts on Friday.
