Free transit available in the Comox Valley on BC Day

Free transit is once again being offered in the Comox Valley this upcoming holiday weekend.

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and BC Transit have announced all routes will have free transit on August 4.

Regular service will still operate on Saturday and Sunday, with Monday’s free transit day operating on a Saturday schedule.

Detours will be in place for the Nautical Days parade in Comox, so delays are to be expected.

Customers are encouraged to use their real time planning apps to check trip times and plan their journeys accordingly.
