Forecasters predict warm fall and winter seasons

September is here, which means the start of the cooler fall weather…or does it?

Although the summer heat seems to be gone, the Weather Network’s Dayna Vettese says it’s not a total goodbye to the hot weather.

Vettese says water preservation is a big concern, and even though we will see some rain and snow in different areas, it may not be enough to make up for the drought-like conditions of the summer.

Vettese adds there’s been some cooler weather recently, but the warmer weather will return thanks to a strengthening El Niño and roll into both the fall and winter seasons.
