Election races getting tighter, according to new poll

A new poll focusing on key ridings in the Island Coastal region shows races getting tighter.

The Insights West survey has the NDP with 30% support in Courtenay Alberni, the Conservatives at 25 and the Liberals at 10.

For West Vancouver Sunshine Coast it’s the Liberals at 28%, Conservatives at 25 and NDP at 18.

The Greens have 9% in both.

The Dogwood Initiative sponsored the polls, and Democracy Director Kai Nagata says there’s also another interesting trend.

The undecideds are at 24% in Courtney Alberni and 18 in West Vancouver Sunshine Coast.

The margin of error in the polls is fairly high…Insights West says it’s plus or minus 5.6%, 19 times out of 20.
