Hunting season has kicked into high gear on several fronts!
Conservation Officer Steve Petrovic says the green light has now been given for hunting activities, including archery, grouse and game-bird hunting, as well as rifle and shotgun big game hunting.
Petrovic says it’s of utmost important to have the proper permits if you plan on hunting.
He adds hunters should remember to take extra care and be extra cautious when out in the forests, and should watch out for fellow hunters.
