19 wing AMS welcomes new Commanding Officer

The Air Maintenance Squadron for 19 Wing Comox welcomed their new Commanding Officer into the fold, while bidding farewell to their now former one.

Major Mike Juillet officially took over the post from Lieutenant Colonel Brian Payan. Speaking to an assembled crowd that included his new squadron, Juillet mentioned this was sort of a homecoming, as he previously served at the Comox base until 2008.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Payan received a very warm round of applause from the crowd for his efforts as Commanding Officer, a position he held for roughly a year.

On Friday, 442 Transport and Rescue Squadron will be holding their own change of command parade to welcome their new Commanding Officer.
