Comox Valley Regional District residents will have a chance to speak directly with their elected officials at a meet-and-greet event next month.
Area A, B and C directors Daniel Arbour, Richard Hardy and Edwin Grieve will be available on October 2 to answer questions, share information and hear feedback from residents.
“This event is part of our commitment, as directors, to keep communication open,” Grieve said in a release.
“We look forward to connecting with residents and hearing about what is important to them.”
While residents are encouraged to bring their own questions and concerns, the open house will highlight topics such as FireSmarting properties, emergency preparedness, climate resiliency projects, planning and secondary dwellings.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CVRD Civic Room.
