Tour de Rock passing through Comox Valley Wednesday

The Tour de Rock rolls through the Comox Valley Wednesday.

The Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock, a fourteen day cycling fundraiser, is continuing its Vancouver Island trek.

Cyclists passed through Campbell River Tuesday, Wednesday’s stops are happening in Courtenay and Comox.

Following Wednesday’s Comox Valley visit, cyclists will head to Qualicum Beach and Parksville on Thursday, September 25.

This year’s fundraiser has already raised over $318,000,nearly one-third of its $1 million goal.

The annual bike ride aims to raise funds for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society.

The Tour de Rock’s final stop is in Victoria on October 3.
