Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock rolls into Comox Valley

In the Comox Valley, brisk winds and a bit of a downpour failed to dampen spirits as the 2015 Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock cycled into Courtenay.

We asked our own Vista Radio media rider Hilary Eastmure, on what has surprised her so far, on this gruelling and emotional, island wide tour…

Eastmure says she is blown away by the tremendous support from small North Island communities, such as Port Alice, Port Hardy and Port McNeil…

Goat News spoke with tour rider Campbell River RCMP Constable John Belanger…

Belanger says cancer touches virtually every family and that emotional connection is felt each and every day on the tour…

The Tour de Rock is spending the day visiting schools and attending various fundraisers..the team drops in for a downtown Courtenay Thrifty Foods Pancake breakfast on Thursday morning before continuing their journey down island.
