Another cougar spotted in East Courtenay

Two cougar sightings have been observed in the past week in the Comox Valley.

The new sighting was in the East Courtenay area of Hurford Hill Park, Valley View Greenway, Hobson Park and Hawk Glenn Park.

The sighting this week comes on the heels of a sighting at Condor Park and Quarry Road in Comox last week.

Residents are encouraged to use caution and be observant if they’re in the area.

If any wildlife is spotted and showing aggressive or threatening behaviour, contact the B.C. Conservation Officer Call Service.
