CVRD makes changes to appointment bookings for planning and development services

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is hoping to give clearer answers for people with planning and development questions.

The CVRD’s Planning and Development Services department is now offering online bookings for people looking to plan or develop their properties in one of the electoral areas.

General manager of planning and development services Alana Mullaly said the changes took effect November 17 and questions will be answered by a planner or building inspector.

“We hope this change will help properties owners get the information they need in a more efficient process.”

Requests for appointments can be made here and replies will be sent within one business day and appointments available within two or three days of the request.

Drop-in counter service will still be available for quick inquiries.
