Man with ties to Campbell River identified as victim of kidnapping

A man with connections to Campbell River has been identified as one of four people kidnapped in the Philippines on Monday.

Eleven individuals stormed into a resort marina on Samal Island with guns in tow. They were reported to have fled the scene in boats, which were later recovered. So far, there has been no sign of the kidnap victims or any word from the kidnappers, according to officials.

However, 50-year-old Robert Hall has been identified as one of the individuals kidnapped.
