Help clean up the shoreline!
Project Watershed is once again taking part in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup event.
The group’s Kathryn Clouston says they’ll be undertaking a cleanup of Simms Park waterways on October 11th.
She adds this is something they’ve been involved with for quite some time now.
Clouston says you can stop by the area to assist crews on October 11th from 10 until noon…and remember to bring your rubber gloves and proper footwear.
The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is one of the largest community environmental events in Canada and the third largest cleanup in the world.
