The Campbell River Art Gallery is celebrating those who helped make the gallery what it is today.

Executive Director Kris Anderson says there will be a reception on October 15th. The gallery will unveil a new plaque in honor of residents.

Anderson says they’re also honoring the group Friends of the Campbell River Art Gallery.

Curator Julia Prudhomme says in the main gallery they are featuring Phantom Limb, which is a large porcelain installation.

The gallery has been in the city since 1994. For more on the gallery, check out crartgallery.ca.
