There was a 90% increase across the country from 2008 in voters on Friday alone at the advanced polls.
Central poll supervisor Craig Gillis from Elections Canada says they believe this is a tremendous example of the voice people have through the vote. He says they saw voters from all sections from the community.
Gillis says they had lineups throughout all polling sessions during the four day period, with the exception of Thanksgiving Sunday.
Election day polls will be open for 12 hours less than a week from today, on October 19th. The big question is: will that day see the rise of a new Prime Minister?
