Parking for North Island Hospitals Project workers

Parking issues have prompted some workers on the North Island Hospitals Project to speak up.

On the Comox Valley site, one worker, who requested to stay anonymous, says proper parking is not being provided for the 180 or so employees on-site.

He says this has been going on since he started about 4 months ago.

But project spokesperson Tom Sparrow says there are clear provisions on where to park in the project agreement.

He adds Comox Valley workers were parking at the Home Depot plaza, but have since had to move because of other construction in that area.
