Road work on Comox Avenue next week

Crews will be out on Comox avenue on August 21st and 22nd, as the town does asphalt repairs in the area.

On Thursday the 21st, crews will be working between Comox hill and Anderton road from 3:30 am until 2 pm, which will mean single lane alternating traffic during that time.

The next day, crews will be back out on Comox avenue, but this time working from Church to Stewart street, which will mean a full street closure from 4 am till 9 am. Then, it’s single lane alternating traffic until 2:30 pm.

The town asks motorists to pay attention to construction signage, and follow directions from traffic control personnel. They advise planning ahead and plotting out a different route, as you can expect delays at the work area.
