Have a Safe and Happy Halloween!

Emergency officials are urging Comox Valley residents to have a safe and happy Halloween.

Comox Valley RCMP Constable Don Sinclair says Halloween is always a busy night, especially when it falls on a weekend like this year.

Meanwhile, Comox Fire Chief Gord Schreiner says fire crews are also preparing for a busy night ahead of them.

RCMP and firefighters are reminding drivers to use extra caution with lots of excited kids expected to be out and about tomorrow night. Sinclair says kids are often very excited on Halloween and can dart out on to the road without looking to see if it’s safe.
