Honouring veterans on Remembrance Day

Tomorrow is Remembrance Day.

19 Wing Comox Commander Colonel Tom Dunne says it’s a day to take a moment and focus on veterans, as well as current members of the forces serving the country.

Colonel Dunne says veterans are hugely involved in Remembrance Day, performing ceremonies at Legions and being active in their community events.

Colonel Dunne says it’s very important to pass along the meaning of Remembrance Day, and continue to celebrate the efforts of veterans fighting to ensure the safety of our country.
