Comox Valley Regional District Curling Centre set to re-open!

The public is invited to the grand re-opening of the Comox Valley Regional District’s curling centre this Saturday, November 14th.

CVRD Marketing Specialist Robyn Butler says upgrade work has been taking place since the spring. She says seismic and mechanical upgrades have added an extra 30 years of life for the facility.

Butler says after the official re-opening ceremony, attendees can hit the ice and try their hand at tossing a curling stone, with many other activities for the whole family.

Celebrations start at 1:00 PM. The curling centre is located at 4835 Headquarters Road in Courtenay. For more on Comox Valley Curling, visit the club’s website.
