The BC Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services has released its report and recommendations for next year’s provincial budget.
The report contains 63 recommendations, based on feedback received through public consultations.
Deputy Chair Carole James says themes included proper funding for grade school and post secondary education, and investing in rural communities.
James says with a total of 572 submissions, the public took their time to write in, and she hopes the Finance Minister will take the suggestions seriously.
