General voting day for the CVRD’s homelessness referendum
Today is general voting day for the Comox Valley Regional District’s homelessness referendum.
Spokesperson James Warren says polls will be open between 8 am and 8 pm.
Warren says it’s a chance for the board to seek electoral approval that would enable it to adopt a bylaw to provide a homelessness support service in the Comox Valley.
Polls will be set up at the Union Bay Commuity Hall, Moncrief Hall, NIDES, the Living Waters Church, and at Royston. Courtenay, and Queenish Elementary schools.
You can find more details on the referendum and the polling locations on the CVRD’s website.
