RCMP investigating possible assault in Courtenay

Comox Valley RCMP are looking into a potential assault in Courtenay.

Constable Rob Gardner says the incident occurred on November 25th on the 600 block of England Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found emergency personnel tending to the man.

The investigation revealed that the male had possibly been assaulted and suffered a laceration on the side of his head, as well as a contusion to the top of his skull. The victim was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital for treatment and observation.
