The Comox Valley RCMP are investigating a case of fraud that involves other Island and Coast communities.

Constable Rob Gardner says they have been able to make some arrests as part of their investigation.

Gardner says police believe similar offenses have taken place in areas like Campbell River, Nanaimo, Duncan and Powell River.

He asks anyone with further information to contact the Comox Valley RCMP or their local detachment.
