Stuffie Drive to help Syrian refugee children

A Comox Valley girl has organized a Stuffie Drive to help Syrian refugees.

Tia Lawrence says the goal of the Stuffie Drive is to collect 1,000 stuffed animals, hats, mittens and scarves for Syrian refugee children coming to British Columbia.

Lawrence says it’s been a great way to bring the community together. She says a lot of local businesses have jumped on board, as well as a multitude of volunteers.

There are multiple drop-off locations. You can see a full list through the Stuffie Drive Facebook page.
