Province invests in Wood Stove Exchange Program
The provincial government is investing more money into the Wood Stove Exchange Program.
Comox Valley Liberal MLA Don McRae says the program provides incentives for homeowners to upgrade their older wood stoves. He says it’s also a good chance to boost awareness about using wood stoves during the colder winter months.
The City of Campbell River will be receiving 89-hundred dollars for the program. The Comox Valley Regional District is also receiving funding for the program.
The details of the rebates will be worked out in the coming weeks.
